The average life span for a horse is approximately 30 years. With that in mind, the breeding choices we make have the goal to put on the ground a healthy, functional horse, who is equipped to be ridden … at home or in the show ring.

The legacy of Sundance Kid V and his breeder, the great Sheila Varian is held dear to Palmetto Arabians. Their influence on our lives and our program is reflective in the horses we breed even today. Their contribution to the breed is unrivaled and we are thankful for how they touched our world.
“When I first went out to Sheila Varian’s, I would ask about the pedigrees of the horses she was showing me. I noticed very quickly that almost every foal I picked out was by Sundance. Lily Dancer V and May Dancer V were two of those horses that I took home that day. I didn’t think Sheila would ever sell him but when she was open to my suggestion, Sara and I were ecstatic. ” ~Frank Chisholm
It is with great pleasure we welcome you to our farm. We are now celebrating over 2 decades of breeding Arabian horses and the friends we have made along the way. We love to talk horses, and the new adventures they bring to all our lives.
